Want your jewelry business to boom? Create a Facebook Business Page.
I have mentioned in one of my previous posts that social media can work wonders for your jewelry business. Social media is the most effective tool to engage users in this digital age. But each one of these channels has strengths and weaknesses. This week, I’ll discuss what Facebook can do for your jewelry business as this is the channel most used at the moment.
One of the best features of Facebook is that you can choose your audience. Once you have created an ad for your jewelry or business as a whole, you simply just have to set the options. Here are some of the many options you can set:
This option allows you to target potential customers in key locations. Start with your city. Gradually go further as time goes by, or exclude some places. This, however, still depends on your ad performance and revenue. It’s a matter of trial and error, and once you get it, you’ll be able to increase revenue easily.
Jewelry is mostly a woman’s thing, but if you offer engagement rings, you may want to target men too. Wholesale sterling silver rings have a wider audience, as men love to accessorize with silver rings too. That said, it is crucial to know your audience first, before setting the targeting options to the right demographics.
Interests and Behaviors
This I believe, is the best targeting option on Facebook. This is where you can define your audience through information on their accounts, such as hobbies, interests, posts, and the pages they like. Facebook can also determine the users’ purchase behavior, intent, and more through trusted third-party partners. You can choose “Jewelry” from the drop down categories for a more detailed targeting.
TIP: You can combine targeting methods like demographics and interests and behaviors for a more specific audience.
You can submit your product list in the Shop section of your Facebook Business Page. Once a user decides to buy one of your products, they will be redirected to your website. This section also has different features that depend on where your Page is located. What’s great about this is that it’s absolutely free to use.
TIP: Don’t post all of the products you offer if your business has a separate website. Allow them to explore more options by encouraging them to go to your site.
Facebook allows you to engage with your customers; encourage them to post photos of the jewelry pieces they purchased from you, as well as their feedback. Businesses should create good relationships with their clients because everybody wants a business who is able to have a personal sense of interaction with their clients. After all, customer satisfaction is the priority, right?
TIP: Post engaging content on your timeline, visual or text, that will pique the interest of your customers. Answer every inquiry and reply to every comment, be it negative or positive.
These are just three of the benefits of having a Facebook Business Page. If I discuss all of them, I might not finish in one day! If you don’t have a page for your business yet, make one now. You’ll see results in no time.
